Gaia MONTESSORI is a newly opened nursery and primary school, located in Gümligen (eastern suburb of Bern, Switzerland), close to the forest (we enjoy a Forest Day every Thursday).

We propose 3 different Montessori environments: Nido, Infant Community and Children’s House.

Created by a team of dedicated and experienced Montessori educators and administrators, strongly involved into the Swiss Montessori community, we seek for the highest standards in Montessori education and commitment into education for Peace.

We offer trilingual environments with early exposure to French, German and English from the infant community level.

Due to our progressive development, we are looking for a Montessori 3-6 German-speaking educator. Given the multiple languages and origins of our team, this person must also be fluent in English (and/or French) in order to communicate with everyone, and especially your teammate who is a French-speaking AMI 3-6 educator. The position is a full-time one (Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm). It includes all traditional tasks of a Montessori educator, plus a contribution to the building on parental education programs.

We prefer people with experience (minimum 2 years) and the will to engage into a new challenge in beautiful and peaceful Switzerland, working closely with the team and contributing actively to the building of a loving and nurturing Montessori community with the children and their families.

AMI diplomas are preferred but we are open to any MACTE-accredited diploma, as we first consider the prepared adult. You must be allowed to work and live in Switzerland.
