KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Teach English to students of the IB section
• Share in the overall responsibility for the academic progress, personal development, health and safety, and well-being of students
• Create a quality teaching environment conducive to learning, implementing the principles of positive discipline
• Act as a coach by setting learning objectives that are challenging, inspiring and motivating, within the Collège philosophy
• Adapt teaching to the strengths and needs of all students, with high expectations for all learners
• Communicate effectively and regularly with parents about their children’s learning and achievements
• Plan for, assess, and report student learning and progress

PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES

• Master’s degree in English
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years’ experience, ideally in an international environment
• English mother tongue and fluency in French a plus
• Swiss / EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit
• Clean criminal records
